Fairmont Château Lake Louise

I have always dreamt of staying at this luxurious chateau with the most magnificent lake and mountain views. When I arrived, I was taken care of immediately at the door. Everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive. I knew I was in good hands! The hospitality and luxurious accommodation are top tier! I was spellbound by the pristine beauty of Lake Louise and Mount Victoria! I am so happy I adventured to the North, to the dynamic country, Canada, to see one of the most phenomenal places on Earth! They pulled no stops for Christmas, and went above and beyond for the kids. CHRISTMAS day Brunch was incredible and very reasonably priced. The Christmas displays were nothing short of spectacular and the staff went above and beyond to look after you. The games and activities kept the whole family entertained. The pool was lovely to heat up and relax after a cold day doing the hikers code with the kids. So many dining options and things to do. A true magical getaway.

The Fairmont Chateaux Lake Louise was a high point for us, with its fantastic location and grand nature, and accompanying price tag we expected a lot. Mostly it delivered, and the hotel upgraded our room as well but unfortunately it was under major renovations and the suite we were given was right in the midst of major works - the sound of drilling drove us out of this otherwise very beautiful suite.

Spectacular view of Lake Louse and the mountains from the large windows in our suite - the true "postcard" view, centered on the long axis of the lake and overlooking the garden. The suite is spacious, comfortable, and the service superior (10/10) as always with the Fairmont Gold staff. The room is located across the hall from the Fairmont Gold lounge. The bathroom is large, brightly lit and equipped with both a tub and a separate step-in-shower. Windows are equipped with blackout drapes that work. There are window screens should you wish to open windows a few inches for ventilation but keeping bugs out - the screens are also removable to take photos or enjoy the view through the windows.

Fairmont Gold at the Chateau is absolutely the way to go. Breakfast and afternoon food in the lounge were superb and a dedicated concierge were worth the upcharged price. Our direct lake view was priceless. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time. We skipped the long lines for the canoes. Walked right outside and chose any hike we felt like tackling, without worrying about parking. Restaurants were superb and all staff were knowledgeable and accommodating.
